Swaging Machine
What it is
A precision rotary swaging machine designed for forming and sizing the end of speedometer cables. The machine converts the round end of a cable into a square drive profile required for speedometer applications.
How it works
The cable end is positioned inside the rotary swaging sleeve, where four carbide jaws move radially inward to progressively form the round cable end into the required square profile.
Rotary swaging: The rotating dies apply controlled radial pressure around the cable end to achieve the required shape and dimensions.
Cold forming: The swaging operation is carried out at room temperature and does not require heating of the work piece.
The required square size can be adjusted according to the application and cable specification.

Speedometer Cable Swaging Machine:
